FOR STUDENTS

Class Etiquette

At Letha Fulton School of Dance, we expect our students to give their best in each class. This includes perhaps, more importantly, to respect their instructors, be kind to their peers, and follow the golden rule, treat others as you would like to be treated.

Student-Teacher
Disciplinary Action

If a  student is being disruptive or disrespectful to the instructor or peers, we will make her/him aware of the inappropriate behavior.

If necessary, we will have the student sit and watch class. Often, this is a good "time" to refocus and realize that poor behavior affects others, has consequences, is not acceptable and may not be safe.

We want this to be a positive and fun learning environment for all, and that means we have to  work together and learn many life skills!

Cell Phones /
Videography of Dances

Phones need to be turned off or silenced when they are left in bags in the lobby or studio cubbies.

Please remember that the choreography students are given in class is the Intellectual Property of the teacher. Permission must be granted by the teacher before posting class material or choreography.

If students would like to record any choreography for the purpose of practicing on their own, they must discuss with the teacher first.
